180 sleeps to Christmas....

The Blog Hop over at Ladybug Crafts Ink had me scratching my head - so not in the Christmas mode when it's 20 degrees outside but thought what an ideal way to kick off my Christmas cards plus play with my SU My Digital Studio.

This card probably took me most of today to think about and do but am very pleased with the results.

I would like to enter this into LCI Christmas in June Blog Hop Challenge

Created on SU MDS
Printed on high quality card then sprayed with Crafters Companion Spray & Sparkle in Silver
Ribbon from my stash
Embellished with ickle diamantes and a special red one for Rudolph

Another Weekend.....

My 9 year old daughter, Eleanor, has had a student teacher for the past 6 weeks and she absolutely adores her.....but sadly this Friday she will be leaving.

We are having a weekend at home and I have to admit I have slept most of today - feel so guilty but my body is exhausted.....my MIL got taken into hospital on Friday - yet another infection and high temperature - they have put her on iv antibiotics and keeping her in, as they said her case is very complicated.....my FIL is being cared for by one of my BILs, and is proving very 'difficult' - how can you explain to a 76 year old grown man what he can and can't do - when he has been in the SAS ??!!

Here is the card I made for Eleanor's student teacher - very clean and simple ....

Made in 1971 !

A very close friend turns 40 this week but she has been my absolute saviour recently - during all our travels up and down south she has taken care of Cocoa and Celeste, our two Burmese.......she has just bought herself a new mini cooper so I really wanted to find a mini car stamp......

Also didn't want to put '40' on the card so came up with a twist - hope you like it.....

PS - my stash - think it was Dovecraft
Stamp - LOTV - coloured in with my promarkers
Sentiment punch - Stampin' Up
(I typed the sentiment and printed it then punched it out.)

I would like to enter this into LCI Challenge 32- Numbers

Father's Day cards......

As most card makers dread making male cards - I actually enjoy it, but no bling or flowers does leave my cards 'asking' for something else I feel.....

I need to make 4 cards - 1 for my dad, 1 for my FIL and 2 for John from the children....here is the one for my FIL....

SU PS
SU Grosgrain ribbon - old olive
LOTV Bear Stamp - coloured in using Promarkers
