Billie Bear has arrived at LCI

Wow we had a lot of gorgeous entries to our last challenge - so do go over to the challenge blog and see if you are one of our lucky winners.

This fortnight's challenge to coincide with our brand new release is

ANYTHING GOES

I'm just in love with my image
Sweet Treat Billie
which is available today along with all the other new Billie Bear images
at £1.75 each

When I received it I just knew I wanted to see him in patchwork so off I went and googled digital patchwork papers and came across this gorgeous blog
Kym's Crafty Cards where she designs papers - they are just fabulous and not expensive too !!

I paper pieced Billie with the papers and just know he will be one of my favourites.

Happy 21st.......

If only it was me again - what would I do different - would I do anything different - hmmmmmm sure I would tweek one or two things....LOL !!!

I took Eleanor to see One Direction on Friday night at the MEN Arena - and boy I'm glad I'm not a teen again - I've never heard screaming so loud in my entire life - my ears were still ringing on Saturday morning !! I have to admit though One Direction were exceptionally good and for a change they could actually sing and perform......wasn't impressed though when Eleanor pointed out that Harry would prefer me to her as he liked OLDER women !!!!

I have used the same layout as yesterdays card - as it was clean and simple looking but equally quite classy.
The image is LCI Killer Heels - Leopard and I coloured it in using my Promarkers and again the sentiment was computer generated.

Don't forget to call back tomorrow for my LCI midway Spring challenge card - and some exciting news !!!

A little bit of glamour....and a cutie...

I've had a lovely weekend down in Kent with my new baby nephew - and although the journey was miserable both ways it was more than worth it.

Here's the gorgeous little man.......how cute is he ??!!

My card today is for a lady who loves clothes - I've had this image for sometime and decided to put it to use !!
I paper pieced the dress with a digital paper from Pink Petticoat and I was very pleased with the result......the sentiment was computer generated.

Hope you've had a lovely weekend - and take care this week, I believe more snow has been predicted for some parts of UK. :0(

Happy Mother's Day...

Did you know ???

In UK, Mothers Day celebrations started by the name of
Mothering Sunday, several years before the tradition found its roots in UK. Mothering Sunday came to be celebrated following the practice in UK of 17th century wherein children of poor families were send to work as apprentice and domestic servants with the rich. These children were allowed to visit their 'Mother Church' or the Cathedral of their home town annually in the middle of the fasting month of Lent. Children met their mothers after visiting the church and presented them with flowers and special 'Mothering Cakes'. The custom received a set back with the advent of Industrial Revolution when the lifestyles changes. American soldiers contributed in the revival of the tradition after the World War II.

Here is the card I made for my Mum using LCI Floral Delights coloured in using my Promarkers and paper and ribbon from my stash.

Wishing all Mum's all over the world (although we don't share the same day ?!?) a wonderful Mothering Sunday.

Weekend again.....

How quick are the weeks going by - 3 weeks until Easter - which reminds me of lambs and budding flowers.....but looking through my window today that doesn't look likely.

Todays card is made using LCI Floral Delights coloured in using Prismacolour pencils and glamour dust and glossy accents for the look of water in the vase and the ladybugs.
The ribbon is from Country Baskets and the embossing folder is by Darice.

A Productive day.....

Since Christmas I haven't done any power walking due to Asthma and Bronchitis but yesterday I went for a slow four mile walk - although on the way back my chest did get tight I felt great.....but today I've struggled but ho hum am going to try again tomorrow - maybe a little bit shorter......

Isabelle, my friend's daughter, wanted to do something different (and cheap as she's only 15) for her Mum this Mother's day so as I was looking after her last night - we came up with the idea of a coupon book.....so today I set to and made one - my very first !!
I made it to match the card I made for her too.

I perforated each page so that she can pull each page out..
......and Isabelle can decide what she is going to do for each one

Hope you like my new idea as much as Isabelle did -
and hopefully her Mum will too.

Thank you for stopping by
